Dawsongroup | global launches innovative worldwide cold store solution

Dawsongroup | global has drawn on its extensive heritage and expertise in delivering quality temperature-controlled solutions and asset management in the UK and Europe to develop and launch TEMPºSTORE, a range of innovative inflatable cold storage solutions which can be deployed in under 60 minutes.

Manufactured by Dawsongroup | global, with leading inflatable structures expertise from sister company, Tectoniks, the TEMPºSTORE range provides highly compact, simple-to-use inflatable cold store solutions, anywhere in the world. Designed initially for use within international aid projects and in disaster relief areas, the TEMPºSTORE 10 received immediate interest from some of the world’s leading humanitarian agencies. The TEMPºSTORE 26 has already been successfully tested on site with an NGO for one year in inclement weather conditions.

The innovative inflatable structures in the TEMPºSTORE 10 and 26 ranges offer rapid solutions for any emergency cold storage requirements expanding floor coverage up to 78 square meters.

The flexible design also lends itself to hard to reach locations, particularly where there is limited cold chain infrastructure already in place, providing a temperature-controlled interior range of +2°C to +15°C and ambient range of -2°C to + 50°C.

Wherever the need in the world, TEMPºSTORE products can be transported by air, road, rail or sea and are fully compatible with Dawsongroup | global’s solar energy solutions, empowering renewable energy use within remote locations. This enables self-sustaining operations over a period determined by local daylight hours and weather conditions, making them a suitable solution for any sector including food production or storage, hospitality and events, pharmaceuticals and humanitarian aid.

Patrick Smedley, Head of Global Cold Storage at Dawsongroup | global, said: “When the need strikes, the TEMPºSTORE compact and durable design enables an immediate response in the most challenging environments. Simple to set up in four easy steps – unload, unfold, inflate and connect a refrigeration unit. No specialist construction skills are required, so when relocation is needed, it can simply be repacked, stored or moved to a new location within a matter of hours.”

The TEMPºSTORE units are available for hire or purchase and can be integrated with off-grid systems, enabling multiple energy streams including grid, diesel, generator and solar with a remote temperature monitoring portal.
