Hillphoenix, part of Dover Food Retail and Dover, the launch of AdvansorUltra, which it described as its first standardized industrial CO2 rack. The company said the launch expands its industrial CO2 portfolio and targets demand in the industrial refrigeration market.
According to Hillphoenix, AdvansorUltra supports its long-term strategy tied to the adoption of transcritical CO2 refrigeration across cold storage, food processing, and pharmaceutical end markets. The company said the platform reflects a shift from an engineered-to-order approach for industrial CO2 systems to a scalable platform model.
Hillphoenix said AdvansorUltra offers capacities up to 450TR (1,583kW) per rack, with large facilities able to use multiple racks. The company said it handles temperatures typically ranging from -25 to 20F (-32 to -7C) and as low as -57F (-48C) for specialized applications such as spiral freezing. Hillphoenix also cited improved serviceability and optional features including parallel compression, heat reclaim options (air, water, hydronic), and its ChargeSecure charge-preservation system.
In connection with the launch, Hillphoenix said it upgraded its training facility in Conyers, Georgia, to help address a knowledge gap for technicians moving from traditional refrigerant systems to transcritical CO2 systems. “This platform solution enables us to consistently control our quality and reduce our lead times to meet the market demands all while providing a product solution focused on customer needs,” said Ousama Sabra, Senior Product Manager of Industrial Refrigeration Systems for Hillphoenix.
