KeepRite Refrigeration launched KM Medium Outdoor Air-Cooled Condensing Unit

KeepRite Refrigeration launched KM Medium Outdoor Air-Cooled Condensing Unit.

Designed for use with a variety of refrigerants, including Low GWP Refrigerants, KM line of medium outdoor air-cooled condensing units are environmentally friendly operating on less power and refrigerant charge.

Featuring single or dual compressor(s) and a vertical discharge air-cooled condenser, these condensing units are suitable for large walk-in coolers and freezers, blast freezers and spaces where roof-mounted condensers are most practical.

KeepRite Refrigeration’s medium outdoor air-cooled condensing units are ideal for high, medium and low temperature applications. Using high efficiency compressors and utilizing the THERMOSPAN condenser core design, the unit meets all application needs from 6 to 40 HP (high/medium temperature) and 7.5 to 44 HP (low temperature).

The packaged refrigeration system is cULus approved and includes the outdoor weather housing, compressor and condenser systems and electrical control panels, all housed within a single assembly.

The condensing unit will be equipped with a base frame made from 12 gauge G90 galvanized steel while a 16 gauge G90 galvanized steel weather-resistant housing surrounds the compressor compartment and condenser section.

With a generously sized condenser that allows the unit to operate at higher than normal ambient conditions, our KM medium outdoor air-cooled condensing unit has an abundance of product features including several energy efficient compressor options to choose from, available in single, dual and even parallel-piped configurations.

The subcooling circuit in the condenser unit increases system efficiency and provides dependable compressor operation. THERMOSPAN condenser core design eliminates tube sheet leaks and provides reliable operation while the 3/8” condenser tubes reduce refrigerant charge.

Electrical components are housed in a spacious and conveniently located panel and in case of a compressor trip, a lock-out rely de-energizes the liquid line solenoid valve. The end compartment panels allow unrestricted access to service the compressor(s) and all other components. In addition, SPDT contact is provided for field wired alarm circuit.
