FREOR introduced its Hydroloop Monoblock for cold room refrigeration during the EuroShop 2026 trade show. The system is designed for small to medium-sized cold rooms and aims to reduce space requirements while supporting refrigerated and frozen product storage.
The Hydroloop Monoblock comes factory-sealed, with essential refrigeration components integrated in a single unit. Its plug-in design simplifies installation and reduces on-site work. The unit can be ceiling-mounted directly inside the cold room and does not require a separate machinery room.
The monoblock provides up to 6 kW (approx. 20,500 BTU/h) of cooling for medium-temperature storage and up to 4 kW (approx. 13,600 BTU/h) for low-temperature conditions. It uses a variable-speed compressor that adjusts capacity based on the temperature inside the cold room.
The Hydroloop Monoblock operates on FREOR’s Hydroloop cooling system. According to the company, commercial refrigeration equipment and a cold room can be connected to the same glycol-cooled loop, simplifying installation, reducing maintenance, and improving system reliability.
FREOR said the new unit combines compact design, integrated components, and compatibility with the Hydroloop cooling system for modern retail applications.
