KeepRite Refrigeration’s EP Extended Profile Unit Cooler line

KEP Evaporator Overview

With a flush to ceiling design, KeepRite Refrigeration’s EP Extended Profile Unit Cooler line features internally enhanced tube along with our patented SmartSpeed technology. A wide range of capacities bridge between our Medium and High Profile Evaporators to offer a smaller footprint while still delivering a sufficient amount of air throw that can be utilized in larger walk-in, warehouse, and dock coolers/freezer applications.

Model Applications and Specifications

KEP Extended Profile ranges in capacity from 20,000 to 124,000 BTUH at 10°F TD for high, medium and low temperature applications and is available in air, electric, and hot gas defrost (reverse cycle or 3 pipe) models.

Similar to other KeepRite Refrigeration evaporators, KEP is cULus approved and designed for use inside a larger walk-in, warehouse, or dock cooler/freezer. The entire unit cooler casing will be a minimum of 14 gauge aluminum with a textured finish while the cabinet consists of a fixed front fan panel and top panel, hinged side panels and a hinged drain pan.

Product Features

With totally enclosed high efficiency PSC motors, standard features of KeepRite Refrigeration’s KEP Evaporator includes high efficiency and high strength fan guard, hinged access panels, ample electrical and header compartments, adjustable fan delay on electric defrost units, Schrader valve on suction header and liquid line solenoid valve wire harness factory installed.

Additional Options

Optional fin spacing, materials and coatings, along with a wide variety of motor options are available, including EC motors with patented SmartSpeed Technology or variable-speed EC motors. Furthermore, KeepRite Refrigeration’s ESP+ Intuitive Evaporator Control Technology is also now available on our KEP Extended Profile units.
