KTL Two-Way Low Profile Evaporator

KTL Two-Way Low Profile Evaporator

KTL Evaporator Overview

Designed for rooms 35°F and above, KTL two-way low profile evaporators are engineered for high, medium and low temperature applications with reach-in and walk-in cooler flexibility provided with its flush ceiling mounted unit cooler. Designed with dual refrigeration coils and two-way air distribution, KTL units effectively reduce air velocities and minimize product dehydration.

Model Applications and Specifications

KeepRite Refrigeration’s KTL models are available for low and medium temperature applications, air or electric defrost, in 18 sizes that range in capacity from 900 to 11,500 BTUH at 10°F TD (based on R440A) and are of course cULUs approved. All motors are permanently lubricated direct drive 1550 RPM or electronically commutated (EC) variants as the fan blades are single piece punched from 3003-H14 aluminum.

Two stainless steel defrost heaters of 0.25” diameter are mounted to the bottom of each coil which are constructed using internally enhanced 0.375” OD seamless copper tubes in a staggered pattern mechanically expanded into die-formed fully collared high-efficiency double since wave aluminum fun of 0.0075” thickness. A fixed 3-wire fan delay and defrost termination control is mounted to the endplate and factory wired to the terminal board.

Product Features

Along with being compatible with Low GWP Refrigerants, these units feature cleanable, textured aluminum cabinets with stainless steel and nylon fasteners, corrosion resistant fan guards and permanently lubricated fan motors. The unit’s low height and compact size maximizes useable storage space while the rugged heavy-duty motor mount reduces vibration and noise.
