LG has launched its DUALCOOL AI residential air conditioner in the UAE, Oman, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia, adding AI-based energy control and a dual-airflow design to its regional room AC lineup. The rollout matters for homeowners and installers because the new model combines long-throw cooling, indirect airflow and app-based power management in one unit.
The main technical feature is LG’s REAL DUAL vane system, which splits airflow into two operating modes. One mode delivers direct Long Air Flow with a reach of up to 22 meters for faster cooling across larger rooms, while the second provides indirect Soft Air airflow intended to reduce cold drafts and maintain a more even indoor climate.
Energy management is handled through the AI kW Manager function in the LG ThinQ app. This allows users to monitor electricity use and adjust consumption proactively, giving the product a clearer operational focus than a standard comfort-only room air conditioner. LG positions the unit as part of a wider shift toward AI-based home climate control that adapts operation to user needs.
Noise control is another point in the product specification. The unit is described as operating at a low noise level even when running in higher-performance cooling modes, which broadens its appeal for bedrooms and living spaces where acoustic comfort is a key selection factor alongside cooling capacity and airflow performance.
The launch covers both Gulf and Caucasus markets, with availability now extending across the UAE, Oman, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. LG notes that product features and technical specifications may vary by country, which means distributors, contractors and end users will need to verify local model details before purchase or installation.
