Mitsubishi Electric Unveils Pre-Plumbed Cylinders with FTC-7 for Ecodan Heat Pumps

Mitsubishi Electric introduces its latest pre-plumbed cylinders featuring the FTC-7, the cutting-edge flow temperature controller, designed to enhance compatibility with Ecodan air source heat pumps. This development underscores Mitsubishi Electric's dedication to delivering advanced, user-friendly, and energy-efficient heating solutions.

The new cylinders promise a "plug and play" installation process, offering convenience for installers. Available in slimline and standard sizes from 150L to 300L, these cylinders are compatible with both Ecodan R290 and R32 heat pumps.

Key Features Include:

- Pre-Plumbed and Pre-Wired: Enables quick installation, reducing setup time and labor costs.
- Plate Heat Exchanger with Scale Trap: Ensures fast hot water recovery and system efficiency.
- Low Loss Header: Automatically adjusts the heat pump flow rate for optimal performance.
- Colour Touch Screen Control: Provides an intuitive interface for easy operation.
- MELCloud Enabled: Allows remote control, monitoring, maintenance, and technical support.

Technical Enhancements:

- New Isolation Valve Assembly: Minimizes connections, reducing potential leaks and simplifying maintenance.
- New Heat Pump Filter: Designed to boost overall efficiency.
- Improved Clamping in FTC-7: Streamlines the routing of 240V power cables, enhancing safety during installation.
