thermowave, supplier of high-quality plate heat exchangers from Berga, has developed a new frame design for plate heat exchangers of the thermolineVario product line. Customers can look forward to even shorter delivery times, a wider range of applications and higher test pressure.
thermowave comprehensively optimises the frame construction of the thermolineVario product line with the new M-frame. The TL0090 to TL0850 series, in gasketed and semi-welded versions, including multi-pass plate heat exchangers with connections on the movable frame plate, are now only available in the new version.
Therefore, the M-frame completely replaces the L-frame version.
More compact design, optimized dimensions, perfect compatibility
thermowave plate heat exchangers with the new M-frame have an even more compact design. With their optimized dimensions and reduced weight, they offer optimum space utilisation both in application and during transport.
Even thermowave customers who are planning to expand their systems can remain calm, because the M-frame can be easily adapted to already commissioned thermowave plate heat exchangers of all other frame variants by means of a variable selection of different foot heights. In addition, almost all old units can be replaced in a similar way, so that no new piping and no modification of the system connections is necessary.
Shorter delivery times, better performance, higher test pressure
With the new M-frame, thermowave achieves even better availability of its products and shorter delivery times across the entire product portfolio. A considerably wider range of applications goes beyond the limits of the L-frame and offers completely new possibilities, not least due to the extension of the length of the apparatus. Larger plate packages mean an increase in capacity and a significantly higher performance of the plate heat exchanger or the plant.
A higher test pressure provides additional safety and expands the distribution channels.
And: all thermowave PHE of the M-series are now also equipped with the new protection tubes for the tightening bolts. Customer benefit from durable, corrosion-free tightening bolts and a significantly reduced risk of injury for their employees.
