Williams has expanded its Jade range with the introduction of Jade Wide Counters and the Jade J1 Fish Cabinet, adding higher-capacity storage and a specialist unit for fish storage. The new products are designed for high-demand kitchens and use Williams’ CoolSmart controller for temperature control.
The Jade Wide Counters are compatible with 2/1 GN pans and are available in 2 and 3 door models. The JWC2 model offers 611 litres (approx. 21.6 cu ft) of capacity, compared with 317 litres (approx. 11.2 cu ft) in a standard two door Jade counter. Each section can hold two 2/1 GN trays.
The range includes standard refrigerator and freezer options, as well as a dedicated meat storage model operating at -2/+2°C (approx. 28.4/35.6°F). Energy efficiency features include self-closing, barrel locked doors with magnetic balloon gaskets, high density insulation and R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Options include reverse units, splashbacks, angled raised pan holders and cut out wells on refrigerator models, and compatibility with third party connectivity systems for remote monitoring.
Williams has also introduced the Jade J1 Fish Cabinet for specialist fish storage. The unit operates at -2 to +2°C (approx. 28.4 to 35.6°F) and is constructed from food safe, ammonia resistant stainless steel inside and out.
The cabinet includes sixteen fixed tray slides, eight per side, and is supplied with eight 2x1 GN 100mm pans (approx. 3.9 in) with slime trays to help prevent fish from sitting in residual liquids. A base mounted waste drain allows connection to the main drainage system.
The Fish Cabinet uses Williams’ CoolSmart controller with accurate sensors, while defrost water is evaporated using waste heat from the condenser. Hygiene features include radiused internal corners, a removable racking system and heavy duty castors for washdown and maintenance. The self-closing, barrel locked door has magnetic balloon gaskets and 80mm (approx. 3.1 in) high density precision injected polyurethane insulation.
