ASHRAE is inviting abstract submissions for its 2026 Annual Conference, scheduled for June 27–July 1, 2026, in Austin, Texas. The event will feature a technical program focused on current industry challenges, including artificial intelligence, building decarbonization, and system innovations.
Conference papers are requested for eight tracks: Hot Climate Building System Design, Ground Source Heat Pumps, AI in Building Design and Construction, Building Decarbonization, Research Summit, Workforce Development, Fundamentals and Applications, and HVAC&R Systems and Equipment.
Accepted abstracts (maximum 400 words) are due by November 19, 2025. Final conference papers, not exceeding eight pages, are due by February 25, 2026. Proposals for organized paper sessions are also accepted, but abstracts must be submitted prior to requesting a session.
All accepted papers will be considered for publication in Science and Technology for the Built Environment, ASHRAE’s archival research journal.
