Industrial Sustainability Best Practices Conference 2025 to Debut in Europe

The Industrial Sustainability Best Practices Conference will be held for the first time in Europe, taking place in Castelldefels, Barcelona, Spain, from 17-18 June 2025. Organized by Best Practices Magazines and supported by Eurovent Certification as a Founding Sponsor, the event aims to bring together industrial design engineers, manufacturing facility managers, and utility technology experts to discuss best practices in sustainability.

The conference will focus on carbon reduction and water conservation for industrial on-site utilities. It will be structured into two main segments:

  • A one-day (8-hour) Compressed Air Challenge Workshop, designed to help facility engineers, operators, and maintenance staff reduce costs by 15-25% through improved compressed air system management.
  • Networking exhibits featuring the latest industrial technologies in compressed air, vacuum, blower, chiller, and evaporative heat rejection.

The bilingual English/Spanish event will highlight two key focus areas:

  1. Net Zero, energy, and water conservation strategies, covering compressed air, vacuum, HVAC, and process cooling—which together can account for 10-40% of a plant’s energy consumption.
  2. Food-safe system design and quality verification for industrial applications.

Roderick M. Smith, Publisher of Best Practices Magazines, stated:

“Since 2006, the Best Practices Magazines have shared energy/water conservation and safety/reliability best practices with thousands of professionals worldwide. In 2018, we introduced the Best Practices Conference to North America, and now we’re honored to bring this event to Europe. We look forward to building this annual event with the support and expertise of Europe’s industry experts.”

He also emphasized the importance of Eurovent Certification’s involvement, highlighting their role as a global leader in third-party product performance certification for the HVACR industry.
