Nominations for the AIRAH Awards 2024

AIRAH is now accepting expressions of interest for the AIRAH Awards 2024, with awards to be presented at a glittering gala dinner in Melbourne on November 21. Celebrating excellence across 13 categories, the AIRAH Awards represent the highest form of recognition in the Australian HVAC&R industry.

AIRAH CEO Sami Zheng, Affil.AIRAH, says an essential component of AIRAH’s remit is recognising HVAC&R professionals who don’t often receive broader credit for their accomplishments.

“We take great pride in being able to celebrate the achievements of our members, and raise the profile of the HVAC&R industry in Australia,” Zheng says.

“HVAC&R is crucial for keeping people safe, productive and healthy. At the same time, finding a way to reduce emissions is essential for our planet’s future. With categories highlighting sustainable and future-focused work, as well as those recognising outstanding projects and lifetime achievements, the AIRAH Awards show how wide-ranging, innovative and important our members’ work is.”

The AIRAH Awards provide industry with the opportunity to highlight notable projects and people that have made significant contributions to Australian HVAC&R and building services over the past two years.

Awards are presented to promising future leaders; established sector veterans; sustainability heroes; innovative gamechangers; the best of new and existing buildings; and the greatest in refrigeration, retrofits, and research papers.

Expressions of interest are open until March 29. The expression of interest form takes about five minutes to complete online.

After an expression of interest is indicated, AIRAH will be in touch to discuss eligibility and to assist with the full nomination process.

Note: Nominations for the AIRAH Awards 2024 may be submitted regardless of whether or not an expression of interest is completed. The deadline for full nomination submissions across all eligible categories is Friday, May 31.
