Record Attendance and Industry Innovations at AHR Expo 2025 in Orlando

The AHR Expo 2025 in Orlando welcomed a record-breaking 50,807 attendees and 1,878 exhibitors, highlighting key industry discussions on tariffs, regulations, A2L refrigerants, artificial intelligence, and evolving equipment design. The event provided HVACR professionals with a platform to explore innovations, network, and engage in industry-shaping conversations.

Expanding Networking and Learning Opportunities

The Expo’s 516,060 square feet of exhibit space was packed with demonstrations of new products and technologies. The Podcast Pavilion hosted 22 podcasters covering industry trends, while manufacturers organized events, competitions, and meet-ups to foster collaboration.

“The expansion of the network with new and creative ways to connect is providing outstanding visibility and collaboration for professionals," said Nicole Bush, Director of Marketing at AHR Expo. "In-person events like the AHR Expo enhance the social connections made online by allowing for greater networking development, and this is proving to be incredibly valuable to our industry."

The 2025 Education Program featured over 300 sessions, including 145 new product presentations and seven expert panels. Topics ranged from A2L refrigerants and artificial intelligence to cybersecurity and workforce development.

“It's exciting to witness the growth of our education program, both in terms of topic diversity and the expertise brought in to share valuable insights,” said Kimberely Pires, Special Projects Manager. “There's a strong connection between the discussions happening in our sessions and their real-world application on the show floor.”

The State of the Industry Panel covered tariffs, A2L and A3L refrigerants, and anticipated market shifts. Participants included Dennis Knight (ASHRAE President), Stephen Yurek (AHRI CEO), Talbot Gee (HARDI CEO), and Dominick Guarino (National Comfort Institute CEO), with HVAC School’s Bryan Orr moderating.

Product of the Year Recognized

PassiveLogic’s Sense Nano, a wireless sensor utilizing Bluetooth mesh and harvesting energy from its surroundings, was named the 2025 Product of the Year.

Looking Ahead to Las Vegas 2026

The next AHR Expo will take place February 2-4, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Hotel reservations will open in late spring, with registration available in early summer.
