UNEP, alongside other international organizations, is promoting opportunities for women in the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump (RACHP) sector at the INWIC stand in Hall 9 during Chillventa.
The
International Network for Women in Cooling (INWIC) will be among the 900+ exhibitors at Chillventa, the biennial trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany, held from October 8 to 10. UNEP is a founding partner of INWIC.
INWIC Board members will be on-site to discuss their mentorship initiative, which aims to raise awareness of career opportunities for women in RACHP and support their advancement into leadership roles. INWIC focuses on attracting a new generation of specialists by highlighting how RACHP technology supports comfort and life-saving applications while safeguarding the environment. The network also promotes best practices to ensure essential cooling services and environmental protection.
Chillventa’s extensive program will include research findings on new technologies and successful applications, attracting global attendees. Exhibitors will showcase their latest products and solutions, targeting engineers, technicians, and end users with a focus on applications, training, and codes of practice. The forum "A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO DIGITISATION" will offer advice for skilled trade businesses. Reflecting INWIC’s goals, the fair will also feature “reverse recruiting,” where companies can advertise job vacancies for skilled personnel.
