Rhoss has expanded its MidiPACK-PI range of reversible chillers and heat pumps with two new sizes using natural R290 refrigerant. The additions extend the available capacity range for new installations and energy retrofit projects.
The new THAITP 140 heat pump has a single-circuit, full-inverter configuration. It shares its structure, dimensions, accessories and operating limits with the existing 130 and 135 models.
Rhoss has also introduced the TCAITP 171 chiller and THAITP 171 heat pump. Both use a single-circuit, full-inverter configuration and share their structure, dimensions, accessories and operating limits with the existing 147–165 sizes.
The range update includes design changes intended to optimize installation clearances and safety distances. According to Rhoss, the units can be integrated with existing heating systems, including boilers, or used to replace them in commercial and multi-family residential applications.
