The agreement to purchase Climacraft’s business operations in Traboch was signed in mid-March. The company was acquired as part of an asset deal. Through this takeover, Caverion is expanding its business activities in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology and supplementing the range of services in the Upper Styria region.
Climacraft GmbH, founded in 2006 by Marcus Köhl, is a specialist company specializing in the sale and installation of tailor-made air conditioning systems with 11 employees. “This takeover offers the company and our employees extensive opportunities to develop and grow in this industry,” says Marcus Köhl, the former managing director of Climacraft in Traboch.
“With 25 years of experience in the areas of air conditioning, refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, heat pumps, heat recovery systems and qualified know-how in natural refrigerants and energy efficiency, Caverion is a reliable partner for its customers. This is a supplementary acquisition for this rapidly growing market. With this takeover we can further strengthen and expand our services in this area,” says Manfred Simmet, Managing Director of Caverion Österreich GmbH.
The purchase price is not disclosed.
