Daikin has announced the launch of its Vertical Water and Space Cooler & Heater ranges for heating and cooling large commercial and industrial spaces. Available from November 2026, the units are designed for warehouses, logistics centres, manufacturing facilities, gyms and sports venues, with options for new-build and retrofit projects.
Both product ranges are available in direct-expansion (DX) and hydronic configurations. DX versions use refrigerant and can be connected to Daikin VRV 5 systems or ERA condensing units. Hydronic versions use hot or chilled water supplied through networks connected to chillers or heat pumps, making them suitable for buildings with existing centralised water-based systems.
Daikin Vertical is a floor-standing unit designed for buildings where ceiling installation is impractical. It provides a nominal airflow rate of 4,000 m³/h (approximately 2,354 CFM) and features a ready-to-connect configuration. The control panel and coil connections can be positioned on either side of the unit to accommodate different installation requirements.
The Space Cooler & Heater range uses wall- or ceiling-mounted installation to preserve floor space. It also delivers a nominal airflow rate of 4,000 m³/h (approximately 2,354 CFM) and incorporates adjustable nozzles to direct conditioned air towards specific areas. Both ranges feature ductless designs and dedicated filtration systems intended to simplify installation and maintenance.
Daikin Vertical and Space Cooler & Heater are designed and manufactured at Daikin Applied Europe’s facility in Caleppio di Settala, Italy. Both ranges will be available from stock in multiple configurations to support retrofit, replacement and system expansion projects.
