Modine joins US DOE Better Plants program, reports CDP and EcoVadis results

Modine has joined the U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Plants program as part of its efforts to reduce energy intensity and support sustainability. The company said the move adds to its recent sustainability reporting and ratings results.

Modine also reported scores of B for Climate Change and B for Water Security in the 2025 CDP survey. The company said CDP is a global non-profit that operates an environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, states and regions, and that a B score indicates coordinated action on climate issues.

In addition, Modine received a Bronze Medal from EcoVadis. The company said the EcoVadis rating reflects a structured and proactive approach to sustainability across Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

“Our commitment to sustainability is at the core of our company’s purpose,” said Mark W. Johnson, Vice President, Technology & Innovation, Data Centers at Modine. “Joining the Better Plants program and our strong scores from CDP and EcoVadis are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our global team. We are proud of the progress we have made and are committed to continuing our journey to help our customers reduce their environmental impact as well as our own.”

Modine said its sustainability strategy is integrated into its operations, including the development of energy-efficient products and the implementation of sustainable practices in its manufacturing facilities.
