The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) has appointed Constantino Espinoza as Latin America Regional Manager within its Global Services team. Espinoza will support AHRI activities across the region by engaging manufacturers, identifying opportunities for industry collaboration, and increasing awareness of AHRI standards and certification programs.
Espinoza brings more than 18 years of experience in research and development operations, product development programs, large-scale testing infrastructure for regional and international markets, and compliance strategies in the HVACR and water heating sector.
AHRI opened its Latin America office in 2022 to support the industry across the region. The association represents manufacturers of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, commercial refrigeration and water heating equipment.
“Latin America is an important and growing market for the HVACR and water heating industry, and AHRI is excited to have such an experienced and well-respected addition to our team,” said Michael LaGiglia, AHRI Senior Director of Global Services, who oversees Latin America operations.
“Energy efficiency improvements have slowed in Latin America over the past few decades, and I look forward to driving meaningful change for the region by demonstrating how AHRI’s programs and services can help address the regulatory gaps, disparities in technical capacities, and other challenges facing the industry,” Espinoza said.
