Arneg Central America celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026, marking two decades of operations and growth in the region. CEO Pablo Buchko, who has led the company for almost 16 years, highlighted its refrigeration technology projects, the support of Arneg Group and plans to expand technical services across Central America, the Caribbean and Ecuador.
Among the company’s milestones, Buchko recalled the implementation of a pumped CO2 refrigeration system approximately 12 years ago. At that time, transcritical CO2 systems with parallel compression suitable for tropical climates were not yet available, limiting wider adoption of CO2 technology. The project combined Arneg Group’s international expertise with the local team’s understanding of regional operating conditions.
Buchko emphasized the role of Arneg Group in providing technical expertise, strategic guidance, research and development resources, and industrial capabilities. This support has enabled the regional organization to apply international standards while adapting its solutions to local market requirements.
Looking ahead to the next decade, Arneg Central America plans to strengthen pre-sales and after-sales technical support through specialized personnel across its markets. Priorities include helping customers transition to lower-impact refrigerants and increasingly compact, efficient and integrated refrigeration systems. The company also identifies opportunities in on-site consulting, complete store design, installation, digital monitoring, energy optimization and lifecycle services.
Buchko emphasized the importance of customer relationships, employee contributions and continued investment in technology. “Our priority will be to continue growing responsibly, combining the Group’s international expertise with a strong ability to respond to local market needs.”
