Beijer Ref is expanding its Heritage Distribution platform into Canada through the acquisition of Enertrak, a specialized HVACR distributor serving contractors across Eastern Canada.
Enertrak generates annual sales of approximately CAD 165 million (about USD 120 million), operates seven branches and employs around 120 people. The company supplies HVACR products to residential, commercial and industrial markets in Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Founded in 1982, Enertrak will join Beijer Ref’s North America operating segment and operate within the Heritage Distribution platform. It will retain its established brand for distribution and marketing, while its existing management will maintain an ownership interest and continue leading the business.
Beijer Ref expects the acquisition to contribute positively to its results and strengthen its North American position through an expanded presence in Canada.
