Carrier launches AquaForce 61XWHVZE high-temperature heat pump

Carrier has launched the AquaForce 61XWHVZE, a ready-to-use high-temperature heat-pump package for district heating and industrial applications. The company said the unit is designed to support decarbonisation, shorten project delivery and integrate into heating systems. Carrier is part of Carrier Global Corporation.

The AquaForce 61XWHVZE is built around a variable-speed compressor with GreenSpeed Intelligence and Carrier’s heating-optimised system design. According to the company, the package is designed to maintain full-load performance while improving seasonal efficiency and matching heating output to demand.

Carrier said the unit can use sources including grey water, data-centre waste heat, deep ground water and geothermal energy. The company added that the electrified solution is available with ultra-low-GWP refrigerant options and delivers zero carbon emissions at the point of use while eliminating the need for fossil fuels.

The 61XWHVZE is described as an industrialised product intended to speed project completion. Carrier said its compact footprint allows containerisation as a complete system on demand, which can simplify installation on constrained sites.

Carrier said performance is backed by Eurovent certification, while production and testing are certified. The company added that the heat pump can be integrated into hybrid systems through Carrier group heating solutions, and connected with PlantCTRL for management of pumps, valves and auxiliary equipment.
