Chillventa 2026 will showcase refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pump technologies from 13 to 15 October at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg. More than 1,100 exhibitors from over 50 countries will participate, while the supporting programme will include more than 200 specialist presentations.
Four specialist forums will cover refrigeration technology, air conditioning, ventilation, heat pumps, applications, training and regulations. Topics include AI in refrigeration, industrial heat pumps, data centre cooling and the effects observed during the first 100 days of the Ecodesign Regulation ErP2 206.
A new Future Hub in Hall 9 will focus on digitalisation and AI for skilled trade businesses, including applications for office and field work, recruitment and social media. The Networking Arena will address digital tools, workforce issues and ways to reduce administrative workloads.
The Chillventa CONGRESS will take place on 12 October, one day before the exhibition. Sessions will cover R744, heat pumps in local heating networks, industrial and high-temperature heat pumps, AI-driven refrigeration control, F-gas regulation and data centre cooling, including waste heat recovery and R290 systems.
Special presentations during the exhibition will include electrical testing and harmonic distortion demonstrations, an AIT Heat Pump Innovation Lounge and the German Championship for Refrigeration Technicians. The AIT display will include work on an industrial heat pump developed with Takeda Pharmaceuticals to generate process steam at +184 °C using low-GWP refrigerants.
