Agile Cold Storage has officially opened its new cold storage facility in Pearl River, Louisiana, marking the company's second completed project with design-build firm Ti Cold. The announcement was made during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 22, attended by local stakeholders and industry professionals.
The facility spans over 121,000 square feet and has capacity for 19,500 pallets. It features a sustainable refrigeration system designed to reduce electricity usage while maintaining temperature ranges between 40°F and -10°F (4.4°C to -23.3°C). It is located in Pearl River’s industrial district, northeast of New Orleans.
This project follows the companies' first successful collaboration in Macon, Georgia. A third facility, currently under construction in West Seneca, New York, is scheduled to open by the end of 2025.
“Ti Cold has delivered once again, just as they did with our facility in Macon, GA,” said Don Schoenl, President and CEO of Agile Cold Storage. “We’re excited to continue our collaboration with the upcoming facility in Buffalo, NY, set to open by the end of 2025.”
“We’re proud to have our second building for Agile Cold Storage in Pearl River, LA,” added Sam Tippmann, CEO & Founder of Ti Cold. “We’re also excited to see the progress of our third facility for Agile in Buffalo, NY, further expanding Agile’s footprint in the cold storage market.”
