Oakland International Supports Women in Cold Chain Initiative

Oakland International has announced its long-term sponsorship of the "Women in Cold Chain" initiative, a program aimed at encouraging women, including school leavers, university graduates, and those from diverse sectors, to consider careers in the temperature-controlled storage and distribution industry. Launched in Manchester in September 2023, the initiative seeks to broaden opportunities for women in the cold chain sector.

Dean Attwell, Founder of Oakland International, expressed his enthusiasm for the growing initiative and confirmed the company's commitment to being a dedicated partner. The support from Oakland International is set for the next three years, which co-founder Martyn Cogan believes will accelerate the initiative's development significantly. Cogan is eager to see the growth and collaborations that this sponsorship will facilitate, noting the current partnerships with various trade organizations and companies across the sector. The initiative values the support from its sponsors in helping to advance its mission.
