Daikin expands remote management for residential HVAC across Europe

Daikin Europe N.V. has upgraded Daikin Cloud Service Residential (DCS-R), expanding the platform into a Remote System Management solution for its residential heating and air conditioning products. Available across Europe from September 2026, the release adds live monitoring, advanced diagnostics, remote optimisation and software updates.

DCS-R provides installers and service partners with live and historical telemetry, including sensor values, actuator behaviour and operating states for Daikin Altherma 3 and Daikin Altherma 4. For Daikin Altherma 4, active error codes can now be viewed in real time.

Installers can remotely access and manage settings for the main zone, additional zones and general system configuration. Features include energy consumption and delivered thermal output monitoring, domestic hot water configuration, smart balancing between space heating and domestic hot water, and additional advanced parameters for Daikin Altherma 4.

The platform also allows installers to add timeline markers and download annotated graphs in PNG or CSV format. Unit software can be updated remotely, including WLAN firmware for Daikin Altherma and residential air conditioning units and MMI updates for Daikin Altherma.

Access requires the unit to be connected to the user’s Onecta account and consent for DCS-R Remote Support through Onecta. Installers must register or log in to Stand By Me, select the appropriate DCS-R e-package and choose the registered unit for which Remote Monitoring will be enabled.
