GEA Systems North America has introduced the GEA AWP portfolio to the North American market, providing valves and components for industrial heating, refrigeration and related applications. North American customers will have access to local sales, application support and service through GEA Systems North America’s network of refrigeration and heating experts.
The portfolio includes valves, oil regulation systems and similar components manufactured at GEA AWP’s factory in Prenzlau, Germany. Products are available in national pipe sizes from 1/8 to 20 inches (approx. 3.2 to 508 mm), with pressure ratings up to 2,320 psi (approx. 160 bar) and operating temperatures from -76°F to +392°F (-60°C to +200°C). Materials include stainless steel, carbon steel and low-temperature carbon steel.
GEA AWP’s ValveCalc tool allows customers to enter operating conditions to identify a valve for their application. The company can also provide customized valve solutions with specified dimensions, connections, flanges, outlets, pressure and temperature ranges, installation lengths and packing materials. Multiple valves can be combined into one component that is factory tested and validated before delivery.
GEA AWP components are used in food and beverage, cold storage, chemical, concrete cooling, oil and gas, marine, ice rink and indoor ski applications. The North American expansion comes amid growing demand for industrial refrigeration and heating components, particularly for higher-pressure and higher-temperature applications.
