Magnavale have made a £130 million investment into new cold storage development in Easton, Lincolnshire. The Europe’s most efficient temperature-controlled storage facility was breaked ground in September 2022. Magnavale have achieved many of our development milestones and some of the aspects of the project have already been completed.

McClaren has finished the main concrete slab, and the low bay has now been clad. In addition, the steelwork for the staircase in the new office block has been completed. Magnavale have now started constructing the automation in the low bay as well as the high bay cladding. An essential component the pallet crane system, responsible for the automated handling of pallets into the racking system, is currently being erected.
Along with the installation of the electrical infrastructure and the fire suppression system, company are constructing the refrigeration and oxygen reduction plantrooms, crucial components for what will be Europe’s most efficient cold store.
Magnavale will complete construction in Q4 2024.
