Airedale Develops Split-Case AireWall One for Middle East Data Center

Airedale has successfully engineered a split-case version of its AireWall One cooling unit to address space constraints in a Middle East data center project. The bespoke design, developed in collaboration with the customer and contractor, ensures the unit’s components can be separated into two pieces for easier corridor access without compromising its high operating efficiency.

This adaptation was driven by a request from a key data center customer to modify the AireWall One to suit reduced service corridor dimensions. The engineering solution has since been welcomed by both the customer’s design team and the project’s contractor.

The split-case design will now become a standard option for similar applications in the region, reflecting Airedale’s commitment to delivering tailored solutions for specific challenges.

The Middle East’s harsh climate and limited space in facilities often present significant hurdles for cooling systems. By providing customizable options like the split-case AireWall One, Airedale aims to remain competitive in meeting the needs of data centers in the region.

This project also underscores the company’s collaborative approach, with its Dubai office and engineering team playing pivotal roles. According to Airedale, the solution not only addresses immediate project needs but also opens new opportunities for future data center deployments.

Airedale highlighted the adaptability of its AireWall One unit and its ongoing focus on innovation as key factors driving the successful completion of this project. The split-case design aligns with the company’s 80/20 strategy, prioritizing key markets and customers to maintain its leadership in the industry.
