CAREL has appointed Sean Blandford as Managing Director of CAREL UK, effective from 1 April 2026.
Blandford has more than 30 years of experience in the HVAC/R industry, gained in South Africa and the United Kingdom. CAREL said he brings expertise in commercial and strategic management, as well as knowledge of the British heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration market.
During his career, Blandford has held positions of increasing responsibility at major international companies in the industry. CAREL said his experience includes leading growth and organisational transformation initiatives in complex international environments.
CAREL UK was founded in 1998 to serve the UK and Irish markets. The subsidiary is a long-established presence of the CAREL Group in the region and works with OEMs, wholesalers, consultants, installers and HVAC/R industry professionals.
