Secop offers BD Nano EV compressor for electric vehicle refrigerators

Secop is offering its BD Nano EV compressor for refrigerators in electric vehicles. The compact compressor is designed to reduce energy use, support battery life and limit noise and vibration inside quiet EV cabins.

The BD Nano EV, also identified as BDN-EV, measures 93 mm (3.66 in) in height and weighs 1.38 kg (3.04 lb). Its compact design is intended to increase refrigerator storage space for food and beverages.

According to Secop, the compressor provides higher cooling capacity for faster temperature pull-down. Integrated electronics enable communication with vehicle control systems to support thermal management and energy efficiency.

The compressor is designed for low electromagnetic interference in accordance with CISPR 25. Secop says its electromagnetic compatibility is intended to protect sensitive vehicle electronics and support interference-free operation.

BDN-EV compressors are manufactured at Secop’s IATF 16949-certified plant in Tianjin, China. The facility complies with automotive industry standards.
