Danfoss Announces Rick Sporrer as New Director of Indirect Sales in North America

Danfoss has named Rick Sporrer as the new director of indirect sales for North America within its Climate Solutions division. In this role, he will lead efforts to enhance the company’s distribution sales strategy and strengthen relationships with wholesale partners.

Sporrer has been with Danfoss for over 20 years, including 12 years in sales leadership at Danfoss Power Solutions. He previously served as president of the North America region and has extensive experience in managing high-performing teams and driving business growth.

The appointment follows a reorganization at Danfoss aimed at increasing focus on its aftermarket distribution strategy. Sporrer will be responsible for expanding the company’s distribution channel business and extending its market reach.

“Developing our business with wholesale partners is critical to Danfoss’ go-to-market strategy,” said Sporrer. “Wholesalers enable Danfoss to extend our coverage and reach within the North American market. The indirect sales team will focus on enhancing and implementing the distribution strategy, supporting our business goals, identifying businesses entering new market spaces and leveraging synergies across Danfoss segments. I am excited about what we will accomplish.”

“Rick brings a strong record of achievement and knowledge of Danfoss business across segments,” said Vikas Anand, vice president of sales, North America, at Danfoss Climate Solutions. “I am looking forward to working with him to build our distribution business.”
