The EDF Fenice Group has consolidated itself by expanding its expertise and its capacity to meet customers' needs through the acquisition of a majority stake of Modularis Group Srl.
With over 10 years’ experience, Modularis Group holds a specific know-how focused on modular thermo dynamics refrigeration systems and HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning) solutions with high energy efficiency, tailored to the specific needs of each customer. The Group has developed mainly in the large scale distribution sector and with internationally-renowned clients such as Auchan, Metro, Casino, Super-U, Intermarché, Leclerc and Simply Market, as well as in storage facilities for the food industry. The company now operates mainly in Poland and Russia, countries where EDF Fenice is currently present.
Modularis Group’s offer is complete and ranges from energy performance audits for existing cooling systems, to design, construction and turnkey installations, as well as their monitoring and operation & maintenance.
With this partnership, EDF Fenice aims at adapting the technology and offers of Modularis to the industrial and tertiary sectors.
Through this acquisition, EDF Fenice intends to expand its know-how and develop the Modularis technology in order to rapidly implement it in all countries where EDF Fenice is already present, starting with Italy and Spain. This fits in perfectly into the company's strategy, which aims at further expanding its energy efficiency offer to customers, while respecting the spirit of CAP 2030, the strategic low-carbon plan of the EDF Group.
