Copeland has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire Dickson, a provider of environmental monitoring and cloud-native software for regulated life sciences and healthcare applications. The proposed transaction would expand Copeland’s cold chain capabilities with environmental monitoring, compliance expertise and cloud-based services.
Dickson’s monitoring platform and compliance capabilities would complement Copeland’s stationary and in-transit monitoring services. The combined offering is intended to support product integrity, regulatory compliance and operational risk management across pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, medical devices, distribution, healthcare networks and hospital systems.
The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to definitive agreements, consultation with the French work council of Oceasoft SAS and customary regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed, and Dickson will continue to operate independently until closing.
“We look forward to welcoming the Dickson team to Copeland, as we enhance our ability to provide end-to-end visibility and ensure high levels of regulatory compliance through a digitally connected cold chain,” said Ross B. Shuster, CEO of Copeland.
