Constellation Cold Logistics has acquired Norwegian cold storage and food logistics company Impruv Logistics AS, adding 25,000 temperature-controlled pallet positions to its operations in Norway. The acquisition increases Constellation’s total capacity in the country to 90,000 pallet positions and expands its transport operations and Nordic logistics network.
Impruv operates a newly developed temperature-controlled logistics facility in Langangen, near Porsgrunn in Southern Norway. The site supports food producers, importers and distributors, combining cold storage infrastructure with food logistics and supply chain services. The facility opened in mid-December 2025.
Following the transaction, Impruv will join Constellation’s European network of temperature-controlled logistics facilities. The companies plan to combine Impruv’s local market knowledge, customer relationships and operational expertise with Constellation’s existing Norwegian operations.
Constellation currently operates across ten European countries, offering more than 1.2 million temperature-controlled pallet positions. The acquisition forms part of the group’s strategy to expand its European cold chain logistics network while maintaining local operational expertise.
“Impruv brings more to Constellation than additional cold storage capacity. We have been highly impressed by the team’s deep understanding of food logistics and by the quality of the operation,” said Jan Nielsen, Managing Director Nordics at Constellation.
