Enex earns “Committed” Badge from EcoVadis for its Sustainability Roadmap

Enex Technologies, a transformative world pioneer in natural and energy efficient cooling, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration solutions (“HVACR”), Is proud to announce the achievement of the prestigious EcoVadis scorecard, earning the "Committed" level badge.

Enex, as a result of the assessment, was ranked above the overall industry average, with a particularly distinctive performance in the Environment area. EcoVadis is one of the leading platforms for corporate sustainability ratings, analyzing companies' performance in areas such as environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

“Sustainability is the reason why we exist, and the result achieved with the Ecovadis Committed Badge is a further recognition of the impact and vision of our purposeful leadership in climate tech. This achievement encourages us to continue our sustainability journey by further developing natural refrigerant solutions that help multiple application sectors and strategic industries to reduce their carbon footprint and navigate the energy transition.” says François Audo, CEO Enex Technologies.

EcoVadis certification is just the latest in a series of initiatives undertaken by Enex Technologies, all in line with its mission to reduce global warming and its impact on climate change through decarbonization.

Since 2004 – when Enex was founded by Sergio Girotto, the first engineer to design a CO2 unit - Enex technologies has contributed to emission savings of more than 1 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent with the adoption of its low-GWP products and the replacement of systems using conventional refrigerants with severe environmental impacts.

Enex Technologies is also a proud partner of ENOUGH - an EU-funded consortium composed of 30 partners from 12 European countries - that aims to is to support the EU “Farm to Fork” Strategy by engineering and testing promising technological food chain solutions (processing, transport, retail and domestic). Food systems are globally responsible for between 20 to 40 % of total greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition, as a concrete commitment to the protection of biodiversity and life on our planet, Enex Technologies has joined efforts with its scientific partner 3BEE, adopting 3 technological biomonitoring hives within dedicated spaces in Italy, France and Spain.

Enex technologies is also committed to the highest environmental and safety standards in all its production facilities, with already more than 54% of operational sites covered by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
