FläktGroup has reached an agreement to divest its Swedish Residential Air Handling Unit (AHU) assets to Fläkten Systems AB. The agreement, signed on December 6, 2024, outlines a planned closing date of December 30, 2024. This transaction includes the transfer of trademarks, product intellectual property for the Swedish market-focused Resi AHU range (such as MiniMaster and VillaMaster), production equipment located in Warsaw, Poland, and relevant inventory in both Järna and Warsaw. Fläkten Systems AB will also assume the warranty obligations associated with these products.
Fläkten Systems AB, a newly established Swedish company driven by entrepreneurs, aims to prioritize quality, innovation, and regional growth. The company enjoys the backing of JM Indutech AB, a Swedish entity specializing in metal production, and GD Vent, a recognized supplier of rectangular ventilation ducts for both residential and commercial buildings.
With plans to set up Residential AHU production in Lycksele, Northern Sweden, Fläkten Systems AB will establish its sales and spare parts operations independently. It is important to note that FläktGroup's existing customer and supplier agreements are excluded from this deal.
Additionally, the Ilox Residential air handling unit range is not part of this transaction and is scheduled for discontinuation by the end of 2024 as per prior announcements.
