GF Piping Systems Appoints Fabrizio Vagli as Head of Industrial Cooling

New leadership to drive sustainable cooling strategies in data centers and industrial sectors

GF Piping Systems has named Fabrizio Vagli as Head of Industrial Cooling to lead its global business in key sectors such as data centers, marine applications, and industrial process cooling. Vagli brings over two decades of experience in HVAC systems, including senior roles in sales and business development at Siemens, and aims to advance innovation and sustainability in the company’s cooling solutions.

Vagli’s career began as an HVAC installer before he transitioned to a planning office and later joined Siemens, where he spent 15 years in areas such as Energy Performance Contracting and OEM HVAC Controls. He also worked with start-ups and SMEs, adding entrepreneurial insight to his engineering background. He holds a bachelor’s degree in HVAC and an EMBA in International Management & Affairs.

In his new role, Vagli will develop and implement strategies for GF Piping Systems’ industrial cooling segment, focusing on energy-efficient and resource-saving systems. His objective is to enable long-term operational efficiency and support sustainable growth for customers in demanding cooling applications.

“From the very beginning of my HVAC career, I have been fascinated by the challenge of increasing the efficiency and sustainability of complex systems,” said Fabrizio Vagli. “I am delighted that I will be able to do exactly that in my new role at GF Piping Systems. It is our goal to set new standards for energy-efficient and resource-saving cooling systems.”

GF Piping Systems’ industrial cooling portfolio includes factory pre-insulated thermoplastic piping systems comprising pipes, fittings, valves, flexible hoses, and installation tools. These corrosion- and maintenance-free components are optimized for efficiency and lower operating costs, making them suitable for cooling in food and beverage production, breweries, wineries, and high-load environments like data centers.
