Hudson Technologies Appoints Brian J. Bertaux as Chief Financial Officer

Hudson Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of sustainable refrigerant products and services and one of the nation’s largest refrigerant reclaimers, has announced the appointment of Brian J. Bertaux as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. He replaces Nat Krishnamurti, who is leaving the company to pursue other endeavors.

Brian Bertaux brings extensive experience to Hudson Technologies, having spent 20 years at Trex, the world's largest manufacturer of high-performance, low-maintenance composite decking and railing. During his tenure, Trex grew its annual revenue from $100 million to $900 million and achieved a market cap of $10 billion. Bertaux held various roles at Trex, including interim President of Trex Commercial Products and Senior Director of Finance and Strategy, overseeing finance, accounting, and IT functions.

Most recently, Bertaux served as Vice President of Finance for vonDrehle Corporation, a premium paper products provider acquired by Marcal Paper in December 2022. He joins Hudson from Brown Haven Homes, where he was Chief Financial Officer. Bertaux holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Frostburg State University and an MBA from the University of Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).

Hudson Technologies' President and Chief Executive Officer, Brian F. Coleman, expressed confidence in Bertaux’s capabilities, emphasizing his extensive experience and success in senior financial roles at both public and private entities. The company looks forward to leveraging his expertise to expand its leadership in the cooling and reclamation industry and enhance shareholder value.

The company also extended its appreciation to Nat Krishnamurti for his years of service and wished him success in his future endeavors.
