Johnson Controls Names Richard Lek as VP and President for EMEALA

Johnson Controls has appointed Richard Lek as the new vice president and president of Building Solutions for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America (EMEALA), effective immediately. Lek takes over from Marc Vandiepenbeeck, who remains the company's executive vice president and Chief Financial Officer.

Richard Lek will join the Executive Committee and steer the go-to-market strategy in the EMEALA region, focusing on customer insights and market opportunities to enhance growth and customer experiences. George Oliver, Chairman and CEO of Johnson Controls, expressed confidence in Lek's leadership, citing his extensive experience and contributions to the company's growth in Europe.

Lek has been with Johnson Controls for over 20 years, previously serving as vice president & general manager for Continental Europe, where he achieved considerable business growth and operational improvements. Lek will be stationed at the company's Rotterdam office, continuing to drive Johnson Controls towards becoming a higher growth company with consistent results.
