RefIndustry Opens Call for Case Studies for Commercial Refrigeration Special Edition

RefIndustry has opened a call for case studies for the upcoming Commercial Refrigeration Special Edition of Refrigeration Industry Magazine, scheduled for publication in February 2026. This issue will highlight real-world commercial refrigeration projects across supermarkets, convenience stores, HoReCa, cold rooms, and retail environments, showcasing technical progress, system integration, and sustainability-driven solutions.

The edition welcomes projects covering a wide range of modern refrigeration technologies, including CO₂ transcritical and subcritical systems, ammonia/ glycol configurations, HFC/HFO centralized designs, and natural refrigerants such as propane (R290). Propane is gaining momentum in commercial applications thanks to its low-GWP profile, energy efficiency, and suitability for compact, decentralized systems used in retail and foodservice.

Submissions are invited from system manufacturers, equipment suppliers, contractors, consultants, retailers, and end-users who have implemented innovative refrigeration solutions that demonstrate strong performance, sustainability impact, or operational improvements.

Selected case studies will be featured in the digital magazine, published on RefIndustry.com, and promoted across RefIndustry’s media channels, including LinkedIn and Facebook, where the combined audience exceeds 70,000 followers. They may also be included in related technical features and monthly digests.

The Commercial Refrigeration Special Edition continues RefIndustry’s ongoing series of technology-focused publications, which previously covered CO₂ refrigeration, ammonia systems, and heat pumps, featuring contributions from leading global manufacturers and engineering teams.

We also want to share that the next CO₂ Special Edition of Refrigeration Industry Magazine is scheduled for publication in May 2026. If you would like to propose a CO₂-based project or innovation for inclusion, feel free to contact us — we would be glad to consider it for this upcoming issue.
