Secop Releases BD35F-xx and BD50F Compressors for R1234yf with UL Approval

Secop continues to enhance its customer solutions with the latest update to the BD35F-xx and BD50F compressor series, now compatible with both R134a and R1234yf refrigerants, including updated UL approval. This upgrade also features a warning label specifically for R1234yf.

Given various global regulations that ban or reduce the use of R134a, R1234yf has emerged as the optimal drop-in replacement for existing appliances. The newly updated compressors can still be ordered under the same code numbers:

- BD35F 101Z0200 / 101Z0204
- BD35F-B 101Z0205
- BD35F-HD.2 101Z0216
- BD50F 101Z0203 / 101Z1220

Customer-specific compressors will also receive the update:

- BD35F 101Z0220
- BD35F-HD 101Z0206

The electronic units will remain unchanged; customers are advised to check the respective datasheets for more details. 

The upgraded compressors will be available starting September 15, 2024.
