WorldSkills 2019 started!

Every two years WorldSkills hosts the world skills competition which attracts more than 1,300 Competitors from more than 60 countries. At this event, young people from all corners of the globe gather together for the chance to win a prestigious medal in their chosen skill. There are competitions in 56 skills across a wide range of industries — from joinery to floristry; hairdressing to electronics; and autobody repair to bakery. The Competitors represent the best of their peers and are selected from skills competitions that are held in WorldSkills Member countries and regions.

The 45th WorldSkills Competition Results

One of the legacies of WorldSkills Competitions is the increased visibility of skilled professional education, as one of the tools of social and economic transformation.

The Competition also provides leaders in industry, government, and education with the opportunity to exchange information and best practices regarding industry and professional education. New ideas and processes inspire school-aged youth to dedicate themselves to technical and technological careers and build a better future.

Kazan was granted the right to host the 45th WorldSkills Competition after winning a vote by the WorldSkills General Assembly in São Paulo, Brazil on 10 August 2015. Also, bidding for the right to hold Competition were Paris, France and Charleroi, Belgium.

The Competition takes place in Kazan on 22-27 August 2019. The 45th WorldSkills Competition has brought together more than 1,300 young professionals representing 63 countries and regions who are competing in 56 skills. The event is held at the KAZAN EXPO International Exhibition Centre where up to 1,300 Experts are evaluating the Competitors’ work.

The competition is held in the competence of “Refrigeration and air conditioning systems”. The competition are attended by refrigeration technician from 29 countries.

Danfoss, ROTHENBERGER RUSSIA, Fluke are the partners of the competition in the competence of "Refrigeration and air conditioning systems". The companies provided the necessary equipment and tools, financial support.
