Carrier Australia Launches VRF Solutions XCT8

Carrier recently hosted exclusive launch events in Melbourne and Sydney to introduce its latest innovation, Carrier XCT8, to the Australian market. This milestone marks the Carrier Australia’s entry into the VRF product segment, leveraging decades of its expertise in chiller and airside market to provide engineered solutions to customers across Australia.

Designed to meet the diverse needs of offices, schools, hotels, restaurants, and other commercial and residential applications, Carrier XCT8 offers a comprehensive suite of features that ensure superior performance, energy efficiency, and flexibility in design to provide comfort. With advanced and proven Japanese technologies at its core, the XCT8 promises high energy efficiency and seamless operation, setting a new benchmark for cooling and heating systems in Australia.

  • Over 3,000 combination patterns are available which can be arranged to follow the installation site’s requirements.
  • With a long piping length of 1,200m and a high diversity of up to 200% combination ratio, the XCT8 range of VRF solutions offers design and installation flexibility.
  • Operates up to a COP of 6.7 at 50% load, designed to perform efficiently during part load operations.
  • A large single system capacity of 120 HP in a single module by connecting 5 outdoor units.
  • Customized to deliver improved indoor air quality and prioritize the health and well-being of building occupants.
  • Designed for continuous heating even during external defrost operations.
