Danfoss has launched the new AME 110NL(X) modulating actuators, marking a significant upgrade for AB-QM 4.0 pressure independent balancing control valves. These advanced actuators are designed to improve the performance and efficiency of hydronic HVAC systems, replacing the existing AME 110NL(X) and AME 120NL models.
The AME 110NL(X) actuators are engineered to provide high-precision control for AB-QM 4.0 Pressure Independent Balancing Control Valves (PICV) in the DN 15-32 range. A key enhancement is the built-in digital step motor with a resolution of 4,000 positions over the full valve stroke, compared to the previous model's 256 steps. This offers unrivaled accuracy and control in HVAC applications.
The new actuators come with several notable improvements:
- Upgraded IP Rating: Enhanced from IP42 to IP54, ensuring better water resistance and installation flexibility in any direction.
-
Power Supply Compatibility: Supports both 24V AC and DC power supplies, with automatic power type detection.
-
Speed Options: Selectable speed settings at 3 or 12 sec./mm.
-
Advanced Features: Include electronic calibration and valve stroke detection for optimal performance and ease of setup.
These enhancements make the AME 110NL(X) actuators a robust choice for evolving market needs, ensuring precise control and efficiency for modern HVAC systems.
