Frascold is updating D and Q sizes of its Transcritical CO2 Heavy Duty compressor series with a new one-piece discharge valve.
The compact design is intended to improve resistance to accidental impacts and operating vibrations. Its component assembly solutions have already been validated on the S and Z sizes of the same series.
The welding and brazing connection diameter remains unchanged, but the position of the stub relative to the terminal layout has been modified. Frascold recommends checking the updated dimensional drawings in the Frascold Selection Software FSS3 and on its website.
The previous discharge valve will remain available as a spare part until stocks are exhausted. It will then be replaced by an adapter kit.
The new solution is available for both UL-certified and non-UL compressor versions.
