Danfoss launches DataCryo DC394 hose for data center liquid cooling

Danfoss Power Solutions has launched the Aeroquip by Danfoss DataCryo DC394 hose for data center liquid cooling systems. The channeled hose is designed to simplify installation and provide reliable, leak-free operation in large-diameter liquid cooling source lines.

The engineered channeled construction provides low bending force, flexibility and kink resistance. Its one-to-one bend radius supports routing in narrow or complex layouts, while the low coefficient of friction is designed to improve pressure drop and support cooling system efficiency.

DC394 uses a peroxide-cured EPDM rubber inner tube and cover engineered for fluid purity, thermal resistance and sealing. Its sulfur-free construction is intended to reduce corrosion risk, while the halogen-free cover is UL 94 V-0 rated for fire resistance.

The hose is available in sizes -16 through -64, with inner diameters from 1 to 4 inches (25.4 to 101.6 mm). It has a working pressure of 150 psi (10.5 bar) and an operating temperature range of -40°F to 284°F (-40°C to 140°C). Blue and red laylines are available to identify supply and return lines.

DC394 joins other data center hoses in the Aeroquip by Danfoss DataCryo line, which introduces a new name, layline and part-numbering system. The hose can be combined with approved Danfoss fittings and other DataCryo hoses for applications ranging from main supply lines to single-point connections.

“With DC394 and the full line of DataCryo hoses, we are sharpening our focus on the unique challenges of the data center industry and accelerating the development of high-performance, precision-engineered solutions for advanced liquid cooling applications,” said Salih Karayagiz, Global Product Manager, Data Center Hose and Fittings, Danfoss Power Solutions.
