Secop has introduced the new FRK-G compressor series as the successors to its established FR (F-Series) compressors, widely known for their robust performance in demanding environments. The FRK-G line is designed for light commercial refrigeration and maintains the naming structure of the F-Series for comparability.
The FRK-G compressors incorporate several technical updates, including a noise-reducing shell, robust internal discharge tube, improved valve systems, optimized motors, and a newly developed muffler aimed at reducing noise and vibration. These components are engineered to enhance durability, particularly in regions with high ambient temperatures and unstable voltage conditions.
Designed for dual frequency operation (50/60 Hz), FRK-G models offer high starting torque and include types FRK5G through FRK11G. The series features a muffler system developed for heavy-duty applications with rapid load changes and extreme liquid return conditions, supporting system reliability and overload resistance.
Secop states the compressors are suited for bottle coolers, glass door merchandisers, and ice cream freezers, covering LBP, MBP, and HBP applications. The terminal board design has also been revised for easier assembly and additional interconnections.
The FRK-G series aims to provide high energy efficiency, supported by high COP values, and is targeted for both OEM and aftermarket use.
