On Tuesday 16 January 2024, at the Italian Embassy in Warsaw (Poland), the meeting dedicated to the 43rd MCE – Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, the leading event in civil and industrial plants, indoor climate and renewable energies.
The Italian Ambassador to Poland, H.E. Luca Franchetti Pardo will host the event at his headquarters on the occasion of the official presentation of Poland as a Partner Country of the 2024 edition, scheduled in Milan from 12 to 15 March.
Developed with the support of ITA – Italian Trade Agency and Polish Investment & Trade Agency, the designation of Poland as a Partner Country aims to encourage meetings and exchanges between Polish and Italian companies, in order to create new opportunities for collaboration and investment.
Actually, Poland is one of the main players in the European Union, both from a political and economic point of view, where it has gained an essential role within Central Europe and among all the countries of the former Soviet area of influence. Furthermore, in the last three decades, Italy has established itself as Poland’s second trading partner among EU countries (behind only Germany), with overall trade between Rome and Warsaw reaching 32.6 billion euros (Data GUS).
“Despite a now well-established and branched presence on the local market, there is still ample room for growth for Italian companies in the Polish economic context. – underlines Massimiliano Pierini, Managing Director of RX Italy – At the center of the European guidelines for trade exchanges, constituting a potential center for expansion towards other Eastern European markets or even as a logistics hub, the Polish economy is outlining interesting dynamics deriving from the constant infrastructural and economic development over the last 20 years and the consequent social transformation, which sees a growth in power purchasing habits of citizens and the emergence of new consumption models.”
